Announcing the results of our 2021 CBD oil survey
As you may have noticed if you follow our social media pages (Facebook and Twitter) or are signed up for our newsletter, in February 2021 we sent out a survey to our customers to find out more about how they use CBD products in their daily life. It provided some interesting insights into CBD usage and attitudes towards Cannabidiol (CBD) products, so we wanted to share the results with you.
How do you take CBD oil?
We asked 761 people about how they use CBD in their daily life, and the majority take CBD oil sublingually (77.76%), with 22.5% advising that they use CBD capsules or CBD infused herbal tea, 4.21% using CBD vape products, and 4% applying CBD topically using cream.
All of our products contain high quality, organic CBD oil containing a range of beneficial (and legal) cannabinoids, terpenes and other organic compounds, and are designed to release these into the body in a way that is both convenient and effective. Sublingual dosing has proven to be the most popular way of consuming CBD oil with our customers and involves placing the oil/chocolate under the tongue and letting the product be absorbed.
Our oils usually take 90 seconds for full absorption, whereas the chocolates take a little longer to melt! Sublingual dosing is an effective way of absorbing CBD oil, but vaping, ingestion and topical application can also prove beneficial depending on your unique circumstances and personal preference.
How much CBD oil do you take?
The most popular dosage of CBD taken by participants is between 15-25mg per day (with 34.47% of respondents advising that this is their daily dose), but there was a wide range of responses – 31% of participants advising that they take a daily dosage of between 10-15mg of Cannabidiol per day, and 4.47% of participants stating that they take more than 70mg per day, highlighting the fact that there isn’t a one-size-fits-all CBD oil dosage. In our survey, the majority (over 60%) of respondents stated that they take Hempura CBD products in the morning, and/or in the evening.
When it comes to working out how much CBD oil to take, it all comes down to establishing what works best for your body’s unique endocannabinoid system. In terms of optimal dose, only you can say for certain what level is most suited to you, based on a careful evaluation of how you feel and your thought processes over time.
If you are just starting taking CBD, we recommended that you start with a low dose of around 10-15mg, taken in two doses, evenly spaced throughout the day. Once you get more familiar with CBD (and the effect that it has on your balance and wellbeing) you can increase the dose slowly until you reach a point where you feel that you are getting the full benefit of the product.
What’s your relationship with CBD oil?
73.95% of respondents use CBD products every day, with 94.74% of those surveyed stating that they feel better as a result of taking Hempura CBD products. In addition to this, over 97.89% of individuals stated that they didn’t feel addicted to Hempura CBD products.
These results correspond with the fact that CBD oil isn’t known to be an addictive substance – indeed, some studies have even been carried out in an attempt to discover whether CBD can prove beneficial in the treatment of certain addictive disorders[1]. Scientific evidence also suggests that CBD oil (along with the other beneficial cannabinoids and terpenes, etc. contained within Hempura’s CBD oil products) has a number of beneficial properties[2] that can help to enhance overall wellbeing, which fits in with the fact that 94.74% of people who take CBD oil products (including Hempura’s CBD oil products) feel better as a result of taking it.
